Sales, Customer Insights, Customer Service, Field Service, Contact Center and Project Operations. Few partners can do it all. We help you find the ones that have actually delivered what you need.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement — commonly known as Dynamics 365 CRM — is Microsoft's suite of cloud business applications for sales, marketing, customer service, field service and contact centre.
The suite covers Dynamics 365 Sales for pipeline and quote management, Dynamics 365 Customer Service and Contact Center for case management and omnichannel support, Dynamics 365 Field Service for planning and executing on-site work, plus Customer Insights — Journeys and Data for marketing, customer journeys and a unified customer profile.
All applications share the same data model via Dataverse and are deeply integrated with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Excel), Power BI, Power Automate and Azure. That gives a coherent 360° view of the customer and removes the need for separate systems for sales, support and marketing.
Built-in AI via Microsoft Copilot and new autonomous agents automate repetitive tasks — case summarisation, next-best action in the sales dialogue, automatic routing of support cases and AI-generated customer journeys — directly in the flows where people already work.
The platform is available globally with support for multiple languages, currencies and regulatory frameworks, and scales from individual departments to large groups with thousands of users.
Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement is a powerful suite of intelligent business applications, carefully designed to help modern organisations build, nurture and strengthen customer relationships in a structured and effective way.
The platform brings several specialised solutions under one roof:
Sales gives sales teams the tools they need to move deals forward – from prospecting to close – supported by AI-driven insights and automation.
Customer Service enables fast and personal service that meets customer expectations, regardless of channel or time of day.
Customer Insights (formerly Marketing) helps marketing teams build targeted campaigns and gain a deeper understanding of customer behaviour and needs.
Contact Center consolidates all customer interactions in one place and gives agents the right information at the right moment for a smoother, more consistent customer experience.
Field Service ensures that on-site service technicians always have the right resources, schedule and customer information – leading to faster resolutions and happier customers.
Project Operations links project management, resources and finance to give organisations full control over delivery and profitability.
What makes Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement truly powerful is how all these applications integrate seamlessly with each other. The result is a coherent full view of every customer – empowering people at every level to make well-informed decisions and create real value in every customer interaction.
There are many CRM systems on the market, but Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement has several qualities that together make it a unique and future-proof choice for organisations that want more.
A home in the Microsoft ecosystem
One of the most tangible advantages is the deep and natural integration with the rest of Microsoft's products. Does your team already work in Outlook, Teams or Office 365? Then Dynamics 365 CE feels immediately familiar. Email, meetings, documents and customer data flow seamlessly between systems – no awkward connectors, no manual work. It is not just technical integration, but a coherent way of working that saves time and reduces friction.
AI that actually helps in the job
Dynamics 365 CE ships with Microsoft Copilot built in – an AI assistant that does not just automate repetitive tasks, but actively helps users work smarter. That could mean summarising a customer case, suggesting the next step in a sales process or analysing trends in customer data. It is AI that feels practical and relevant, not a feature layer nobody uses.
Configure without code
Many systems require extensive and costly development to fit your specific processes. Dynamics 365 CE is built with flexibility at its core – low-code solutions and powerful configuration tools let your organisation adapt flows, forms and automations without depending on a developer for every small change. That gives you more control and faster adaptability.
CRM and ERP – finally together
Another big differentiator is the option to combine CRM and ERP on one platform. By linking Dynamics 365 CE with, for example, Business Central or Finance & Supply Chain Management, you get a complete business solution – from the first customer contact to invoice and delivery. Sales, service, finance and inventory share the same data and the same reality, giving a whole new level of transparency and efficiency.
Built to grow with you
Whether you are a small team just starting or a global organisation with complex needs, Dynamics 365 CE is designed to scale. You start where you are and expand at a pace that fits your business – without needing to switch systems as you grow.
Altogether, it is the combination of Microsoft integration, built-in AI, flexibility, ERP linkage and scalability that makes Dynamics 365 CE more than a traditional CRM – it is a platform for the whole business.

There is no simple answer to what Dynamics 365 CE costs, because the price is shaped by your unique conditions. Which applications do you need? How many users? And how complex is your business? Below we walk through the key cost components.
Licence cost per user
Licences are priced per user per month and vary by application and tier. As a guideline:
Customer Service Professional starts at ~48 EUR/user/month – a good option for teams that want to get started with structured customer service. Sales Professional is around 65 EUR/user/month.
Sales Enterprise and Customer Service Enterprise are priced at ~100 EUR/user/month, while Sales Premium (with full AI and sales tooling) is ~143 EUR/user/month and Customer Service Premium ~186 EUR/user/month. Field Service costs ~100 EUR/user/month and Contact Center ~105 EUR/user/month (complete).
Customer Insights (marketing & customer data) is priced per tenant from ~1,625 EUR/month – with a lower attach price of ~955 EUR/month if you already have at least 10 Dynamics 365 licences.
Between these levels there are several combinations, making it possible to build a licence package that matches both needs and budget. Prices are Microsoft list prices ex. VAT – the actual price may vary depending on agreement (EA, CSP), volume and campaigns. See our full price list.
Implementation costs
On top of the licences come costs for implementing and configuring the system. Here scope plays a decisive role:
A single application – for example just Customer Service or Sales – typically costs 10,000–25,000 EUR to implement.
A complete solution with several integrated applications, ERP integration and custom flows can range from 80,000 up to 200,000 EUR.
It is important to see implementation cost as an investment rather than an expense – a well-executed implementation lays the foundation for a system that actually gets used and creates value.
Ongoing costs
Once the system is in place there are usually costs for support, management and continuous adjustments. Businesses evolve and a CRM system needs to evolve with your processes and needs. Many customers sign a managed service agreement with their partner to ensure continuous help and further development.
Find the right package with the help of a Dynamics 365 partner
The pricing landscape can feel complex, but it does not have to be. A certified Dynamics 365 partner helps you navigate the licences and solution options – and most importantly, find the combination that delivers the most value for your business and budget.
Wherever you are in the process, an open, no-strings conversation with a partner is always a good first step.
One of the most common questions we get is about time – when can we be live? The answer depends on several factors, but there are clear benchmarks. Below we walk through what affects the timeline and what to expect in different scenarios.
Simpler implementations – 2 to 3 months
For organisations starting with a single application – for example Sales or Customer Service – and with relatively well-defined needs, an implementation time of 2 to 3 months is a realistic target.
That is enough time to configure the system, adapt it to your processes, train users and ensure a safe go-live – without letting the project drag on unnecessarily.
Larger and more complex solutions – 4 to 6 months
When the implementation covers several applications, integrations with other systems or more extensive process customisations, a 4 to 6 month timeline is more realistic.
This is not about the project being slow – it is about doing it right. The more parts of the business involved, the more important it is that every step is thought through and anchored with the people who will use the system.
It always starts with the requirements analysis
Whatever the scope, implementation almost always starts with a careful requirements analysis. It is a crucial step, often underestimated, that lays the foundation for the entire project.
The requirements analysis maps your processes, needs and expectations in detail. What should the system solve? Which integrations are needed? How do different teams work today – and how do you want to work tomorrow? The answers shape how the solution is designed and ensure you do not build something that looks good on paper but fails in reality.
An investment in time that pays off
It can be tempting to rush an implementation, but experience shows that the most successful implementations are those where teams took the time to do it right from the start. A well-planned, well-executed implementation delivers a system that actually gets used – and creates value from day one.
Want a more precise picture for your specific situation? An experienced Dynamics 365 partner can quickly frame a realistic and tailored timeline based on your conditions.
One of the most common questions from organisations evaluating a new CRM system is about flexibility – can the system really adapt to how we work, or do we have to adapt to the system? With Dynamics 365 CE the answer is clear: the system shapes itself around your business, not the other way around.
Flexibility by default
Dynamics 365 CE is built from the ground up to be customisable and industry-neutral. Whether you run long, complex sales cycles, volume-driven customer service or project-based delivery – the system can be configured to reflect your processes, your terminology and your flows.
It is not about picking a system and living with its limits. It is about taking a powerful foundation and shaping it into something that feels tailored for you.
Power Platform – customisation without programming
One of the most powerful components of the ecosystem is Microsoft Power Platform, which lets you:
Build your own workflows and automations with Power Automate – without writing a single line of code.
Create tailored forms and views that match how your teams actually work.
Develop reports and dashboards in Power BI that give you exactly the insight you need, presented the way that fits you best.
That means you are not dependent on a developer every time you want to adjust a process or add a field. Much of the customisation can be handled by your own team – giving speed, control and lower cost over time.
Industry-specific solutions
Dynamics 365 CE also supports a broad ecosystem of industry-specific solutions and add-ons, so you do not have to start from scratch regardless of the industry you operate in. Ready-made solutions and frameworks exist for, among others:
Manufacturing – with support for service management, warranty cases and field service.
Retail – with focus on customer loyalty, purchase history and personalisation.
Healthcare – with solutions for patient relationships, compliance and case management.
Professional services – with tools for project tracking, resource planning and customer engagement.
Whatever the industry, there is a solid foundation to build on rather than starting from a blank sheet.
We help you find the right configuration
A flexible system is one thing – using that flexibility well is another. A Dynamics 365 partner helps you map your processes and needs, then configure the system so it fits your business from day one.
The goal is always the same: a system that feels natural to use, supports your people in their daily work and grows with you as the business evolves.
Want to see how the system could look configured for your industry and your processes? That is always a good place to start the conversation.
